MBSAQIP CALL FOR SURVEYORS

MBSAQIP CALL FOR SURVEYORS

The Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP) is looking for experienced bariatric surgeons to join our Surveyor team. As we begin the implementation process for the joint MBSAQIP standards in 2014, we are calling on leaders in the bariatric surgery community to be the face of our program at site visits – an integral part of the accreditation process.

If you are interested in becoming an MBSAQIP Surveyor, please do the following:
  • Review the qualifications and expectations on application
  • Complete the application
  • Submit the application along with current Curriculum Vitae to tbaker@facs.org

As an MBSAQIP Surveyor, your enthusiasm and experience will be vital to providing a seamless transition for our centers and drive the program’s Quality Improvement initiatives. The benefits of the Surveyor program include sharing best practices, expanding your network, and the opportunity to learn and teach.

For questions about our Surveyor program, contact Tracey Baker, Site Visit Coordinator, tbaker@facs.org, 312-202-5585.
